Sunday services

Currently, many of our services and weekly activities are taking place online. However, we are pleased to be able to resume worship in a limited way and there is a service of Evening Prayer every Sunday at 6.30pm.
The church is also open for private prayer each Wednesday from 10am to 12pm.

Our Sunday morning service is available online from 9.15am every Sunday, and can be found at the St Bot's Blog

Other online services and resources are available as outlined below:

In more normal times... St. Botolph's church meets every Sunday at 9.15am, 11.00am and 6.30pm. Once a month there is also a short service of Holy Communion from the Prayer Book at 8.00am.

8.00am Holy Communion (third Sunday of the month only)
A traditional service of Prayer Book Holy Communion with a short sermon. There is no music.

9.15am Morning Worship
Our main service is for all ages with lively music led by the band.

  • Children are usually in church for the first part of the service before going out to enjoy their own programme of activities at 'Promise Land'.

  • Family Services are also at this time roughly once a month.

  • The first Sunday of each month is a contemporary communion service from Common Worship.

  • Tea, coffee and refreshments are served afterwards in Church House.

11.00am Morning Worship
This service shares the same theme and Bible teaching as the earlier 9.15 service. The first Sunday of every month is Holy Communion from Common Worship.

6.30pm Evening Worship
Our evening service is of a more contemporary style with worship led by the band. Bible teaching is part of an ongoing series. The second Sunday of each month is Holy Communion.

Our services are open to all and you can be assured of a warm welcome!
