• Access to Basic Awareness training (should be completed by anyone who needs an awareness of safeguarding but would not necessarily work directly with children or vulnerable adults as part of their role(s) within the church. At St Botolph’s this will include, but is not limited to, the verger, sidespersons, those serving communion, the caretakers, those serving refreshments, PCC Members, Churchwardens, Bell Ringers, Music Group Members and those supporting activities such as Holiday Club but not working directly with the children e.g. security team, refreshment team) can be found here.
• Access to Foundations training (must be completed anyone who has safeguarding responsibilities or who have contact with children, young people and / or adults who may be vulnerable. At St Botolph’s this will include, but not limited to: The Parish Safeguarding Officer, Children and Families Worker, safeguarding lead on PCC, churchwardens, pastoral visitors, Promise Land leaders & helpers, 1-Eighty and LINK leaders & helpers, St Bot's Tots leaders & helpers, creche helpers, church administrative staff ) can be found here.
